Coed-Y-Mwstwr Golf Club

Welsh for ‘Whispering Woods’, Coed-Y-Mwstwr Golf Club was founded in 1994 and as the name suggests, is located in the wooded countryside on the outskirts of Bridgend Town, South Wales.

South Wales Golf Clubs are renowned for hospitality and we pride ourselves on our warm welcome. We consider Coed-Y-Mwstwr Golf Club to be the friendliest golf club in South Wales. The course was originally 9 holes and progressed to 12 holes in 1995. An additional 27 acres of land was purchased in 2003 and with grant aid from Sportlot for construction work, the 18 – hole layout was officially opened in June 2006. The course has a mature look beyond its years thanks to sympathetic design work keeping many original features including a 19th Century walled garden on the 5th and mature horse chestnuts commanding the landscape.

Our golf club is only 20 minutes from both Cardiff and Swansea-golf in South Wales at its most accessible and enjoyable.

Golf  Courses in Brecon and the South Wales Valleys are also easily accessible. Golf Break enthusiasts would be recommended to use Bridgend as a base.

Coed-Y-Mwstwr Golf Club, South Wales is an ideal society venue that sits between the golf courses of Cardiff and the Swansea Valleys yet less than 5 minutes from the M4. Following the success of the 2010 Ryder Cup in Newport we hope that you will visit Coed-y-Mwstwr Golf Club when visiting South Wales and get a taste of a true Welsh Golfing welcome.

Offering golf packages to suit all budgets we really do offer a unique Welsh Golfing experience. If your visiting South Wales, whether it be Cardiff, Swansea or The Vale of Glamorgan for a golfing break, then come along and let us show you what Golf in Wales is all about.
